Recently, two customers have contacted us regarding invoices received by them from Getty Images. One asking for £800 + VAT and the other £600 + VAT. The invoices were to cover the unlicensed use of images taken either from the web in general or scanned from a magazine without realising they were licensed.

This can be easily avoided by using one of the many royalty free stock image library's available online. istockphoto.com have a huge selection of images, vector graphics, flash movies, audio and video files. All of their images are available in different sizes and from only £1.
